Donald Trump’s lessons on business center on confidence, detail, and reputation. He believed that when you sell, you should never beg. Success comes from believing in yourself and in what you are offering.
Negotiation is a skill that demands attention, requiring you to read the other side carefully and adapt your approach. Details matter, since even the smallest touches can add or reduce value.
And once a deal is made, it must be honored. In business, reputation and trust are the foundation of lasting success.

VCs don’t invest in business plans. They invest in people.
What matters is your reputation, your history, and whether they trust you.
When NVIDIA got its first check from Sequoia, it wasn’t because of a fancy presentation. It was because of the credibility Jensen had built while working with Andy Bechtolsheim at Sun Microsystems.
Markets shift. Products evolve. But strong people keep building.

Ok so let me explain what really happened to Eduardo Saverin’s Facebook shares.
In 2004, he invested $15,000 into the company when it was just an idea. That small check gave him around 30% of Facebook.
But as Facebook grew and moved to Silicon Valley, Eduardo stayed in New York, working on ads. The team felt he was out of sync. Later, they restructured the company. New shares were issued to everyone—except Eduardo. His ownership was diluted to below 10%.
He sued. They settled. He kept the co-founder title and walked away with billions.
That $15,000? It made him one of the richest people in the world.
