Life, as Naval Ravikant puts it, is unbelievably short—a blink compared to the universe’s 13.5 billion years. Which is why every moment matters.
But instead of chasing endless desires, he says real happiness comes from peace and presence. It isn’t about external pleasures, it’s our natural state, the one we’re born with. Children are joyful until desire and ego convince us that something’s missing.
The constant chase for money, status, or pleasure pulls us further away. True happiness is simply realizing that nothing is missing right now.

Now live on OpenArt Motion Sync Video powered by Runway Act-Two!
* Act-Two allows you to animate characters using driving performance videos. By providing a driving performance of someone acting out a scene and a character reference (image or video), Act-Two transfers the movement to your character, bringing them to life with realistic motion, speech, and expression.
* Automatically adds environmental motion to character image inputs.
* Act-Two works well with a range of angles, non-human characters, and styles.
* Controlling gestures with the driving performance is available when using a character image.

Spotify’s growth has been staggering, but this moment shows the cracks in its model.
Daniel Ek speaks often about the company’s mission: making it possible for a million artists to live off their music. Yet in practice, the reality looks very different. While superstar artists earn millions, most musicians outside the top tier barely see anything close to a living wage.
In hearings, committees have pressed Ek with his own company’s numbers. Many independent artists earn as little as $12 a month from streams. At the current pace, critics argue, it would take decades to reach the goal Spotify has set for itself.
This clash highlights the central tension: Spotify has built a wildly successful business, but the majority of creators powering the platform still struggle to share in that success.
